edgy & moody - alternative imagery : Wedding photography was given a whole new dimension with the creation of the "trash the dress" sessions.

What is a "Trash the Dress" session? These sessions are for creative persons who don't want to let their wedding clothes just take up space hidden away somewhere.

Who trashes their dress? Brides who want to wear their dress one more time and have some fun. Those who have bought a dress but didn't get a wedding out of it. Those for whom the wedding may not hold such fond memories...but trashing the dress creates some new memories. If you have a wedding dress, want to be photographed again in your dress and are willing to have some fun, then a trash the dress session may be for you!

Why trash the dress? Why not? Many wedding dresses are hidden away never again to see the light of day. Why not enjoy being dressed up and get some fun images wearing those clothes that you paid so much to wear?! Have that fun romantic session that you just didn't have time for in the wedding rush. ;)

Where can you trash the dress? In a field, in a lake, in the sand, in the mud...basically, wherever your creative heart desires! The possibilities are endless!

"Trashing the dress" can be anything from just having a little fun in your wedding attire to showing your "wild side" to totally destroying the dress all together (which is not necessarily recommended). It's your choice! It's all about the emotions...whether it be fun, sexy or moving on!
